The cabins at Cabin Fever and the town of Saluda are both close to a large number of hiking trails that range from a moderate stroll to strenuous hiking. A great website to explore for your perfect trail is www.alltrails.com. Here you can search hiking trails around Cabin Fever, Saluda, Asheville or anywhere in the area. The site will describe the hike including average time to complete the hike, the degree of difficulty, recent reviews of people who have completed the hike and also gives you driving directions to the trail head.
Local favorites are Little and Big Bradley Falls trails, and the Green River Gameland trails. We also highly recommend going to Dupont State Recreational Forest, where there are miles of trail networks for hiking and biking. Waterfalls also abound in Dupont.
